Thriving Family Services partners with families of all kinds to break negative family cycles and build healthy bonds and relationships. Whether your dual parents, single parents, co-parents or a blended family, Thriving Family Services is here for you to offer support and resources.

 

Parenting Classes & Family Coaching

At Thriving Family Services, we understand families come in all different types, Whether your raising your own children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews, siblings, or fostering - support is just a call away.

We are here for you with all your child development resources, helping unwanted behaviors, and setting boundaries in a positive manner for healthy thriving families.

As an Independent Facilitator of the Parenting the Love and Logic Way® curriculum, classes are taught several times a year. We can even offer private classes to families. 

We offer classes and support for separated or divorced families that are co parenting, as well as blended families.

Support Groups

We have the following groups once a month, for topic discussion, experience feedback, and collecting resources.

DAD Group

A time for men to come together and support each other for understanding and building strong father/child bonds.

FAMILY Group

This group is for both parents, single parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, or any guardian of the family regardless of gender, orientation, or familial status.

LGBTQ+ Family Group

This is a safe group for LGBTQ+ parents or parents of a young or adult child that is LGBTQ+. This group will share and support each other in the current political climate we face, as well as share and support each other as we raise and support our kids with love.

YOUNG Adult Group

This is for 18–25-year-old young adults. Striking out on your own whether you're in college away from family, moving from the family home and joining the rat-race, or other - it can be scary, frustrating, and difficult. This group will help others share experiences, gain some skills, gather resources for housing, paying utilities, food, budgeting, etc. to get you on track for healthy relationships and creating a thriving family.

Development Skills & Resources

By providing skills and resources to families by helping build a resume, fill out applications(job or otherwise), budgeting, cooking, using a computer, we hope to help build positive and healthy lives.

Resource help can include,

  • transportation - rides to organizations, courts, CPS, etc
  • getting food, clothing, diapers
  • applying for SNAP/EBT, Section 8 or Disability
  • finding grants
  • utility assistance
  • and much more.
